In The Birdcage

FASHION + ART +STYLE

Swedish/French psychedelic rock trio, Rodeo Massacre conjure up the soul and musical spirit of the 1960’s.  Their latest release  – Heartaches & Wonders – perfectly encapsulates the live show, harnessing the on stage chemistry while also being intricate and interesting enough to warrant repeated listens.   As a recent live review in London Tourdates states:

“Their brand of late 60s acid rock feels refreshing in its rich homage to the past. Izzy is a formidable prospect on stage – a cross between Marianne Faithful and Mick Jagger by way of Patti Smith (with all the curious androgyny you’d expect from such a description).”

Having toured France and other areas of Europe extensively, they’ve also been main support for Franz Ferdinand and Dirty Pretty Things.    ‘Heartaches and Wonders’ was released by Smoky Carrot Records last October and is available either worldwide via digital download, or a limited number of vinyl will be sold through selected retailers around the UK and Europe as well as direct from www.smokycarrot.com
